To help promote its new low-light camera capabilities, Samsung UK created “Nocturnal Narratives,” three short films, directed by Will Robson-Scott. Equipped with the Galaxy S22 Ultra Nightography features, Robson-Scott and Samsung brought to light the work of Dalston-based florist My Lady Garden, pioneering boxer Safiyyah ‘The Hijabi Boxer’ Syeed, and underground music collective, Keep Hush.
The Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus use adaptive pixel technology, which combines four pixels into one for sharper images in lower-light situations.
The subjects featured in the films were chosen because their passions get them out of bed in the dead of night and/or keep them awake until first light.
To celebrate the release of the films, Samsung held a filmmakers’ exhibition and masterclass live at Samsung KX on 28th March.
Ashrita Seshadri, head of brand marketing at Samsung UK said, “We hope to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and push the boundaries of what a smartphone can do.”
