According to MySpace President Michael Jones the News Corp.-owned site will no longer seek to compete with Facebook, but rather complement it. “Our focus is social entertainment,” he said. “Niche players have long staying power.”
By complementing Facebook, Jones must mean adopting its features. Let’s have a look…
That’s right, the status box mirrors Facebook’s and the share function to its right allows a MySpace member to also post updates to Twitter and Facebook. Yea for social integration!
