The letter is signed by Susan Bankston, of Juanita Jean and the ladies at the Beauty Shop. In other words, it’s from a member of the audience, an influencer and political blogger from Fort Bend, Texas.
The Texas Observer calls Bankston’s writing, “a surreal blend of storytelling and left-wing political commentary from Fort Bend, one of the reddest counties in Texas.”
