In a new campaign video, Eric Greitens, the former governor of Missouri who is now running for U.S. Senate, asks Missouri voters to “Get a RINO hunting permit. There’s no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesn’t expire until we save our country.”
That’s right, he wants to kill people in his own party who are not ideologically pure, a.k.a. people who’ve been ruined by their blind allegiance to the Great Leader who is everything but.
Greitens was elected governor of Missouri in 2016, but he resigned less than two years later amid allegations of sexually assaulting and blackmailing a woman with whom he had an extramarital affair.
GOP Radicals Prepare to Eat Their Own
Hours after former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens released a video saying he would hunt members of the Republican party who he considered not conservative enough, the Republican floor leader of the Missouri state Senate said he had contacted law enforcement.
“There is violence in the future, I’m going to tell you,” US Representative from Illinois Adam Kinzinger told ABC News. “And until we get a grip on telling people the truth, we can’t expect any differently.” Kinzinger has received death threats. He recently shared one on Twitter that was addressed to his wife. In it, the perp threatened to kill his entire family.
According to the WaPo Editorial Board, “GOP leaders have refused to confront and condemn fanatical MAGA supporters, instead enabling and emboldening them. Little wonder, then, that the use of violent, disturbing rhetoric is on the unimpeded rise in Republican circles.”
