Cats rule the internet. But does the feline brand of cuteness transfer well to TV? Let’s look at this new Diet Coke spot, “Kittens,” developed by Droga5 New York for evidence.

Filmed in New York City and directed by Keith Schofield, “Kittens” is the third TV spot for Diet Coke’s “Get A Taste” campaign. The new spot joins “Economy Class” and “Car Wash,” which were released earlier this fall.
Shall we indulge in Droga5’s diet pop fantasies a bit more?

Um, Jay Gatsby called and he wants his party back.

If I am understanding these spots correctly, the idea is Diet Coke is not a hallucinogen itself—legal would never approve that—but Diet Coke is excellent when it comes to washing down some mood altering pills.
In loosely related news, dogs, not cats rule the internet.
According to The Content Strategist, PetFlow’s Blog is seeing between two and four million pageviews a day, and that number occasionally rises to 10 million.
Imagine what would happen if Taylor Swift liked dogs. The internet might implode.
