Being in Atlanta, where Savannah College of Art and Design has a growing presence, I get a sense they’re all about making big moves. Well here’s another one: Starting in the fall, Luke Sullivan becomes chair of its Advertising department.
From the press release:
As department chair, Sullivan will be responsible for guiding the faculty, students, curriculum and activities of the department. In addition, he will teach the department’s advanced and upper level classes.
Sullivan is no stranger to SCAD. He has been a member of the School of Communication Arts Advisory Board since 2009. SCAD’s advertising department created the Luke Sullivan Copywriting Award — a special award that recognizes promising SCAD student copywriters presented annually at the school’s student advertising awards, the SCADDYs — in honor of his contributions to the field of advertising and to the college.
Congrats, Luke!
David Burn says
Yes, a big congrats to Mr. Sullivan and SCAD.
If I was still working @BFGCOM I’d offer to show the man around town. Maybe Bill Green can extend a warm welcome.
